Gail Myers – President

I 'grew up' in the 60's in the small town of Shelby, Ohio. Like it or not, I never got into the 'British Invasion' as my heart was already taken by the sound of The Lettermen. I worked part time in high school....every other week, when I got paid, my first stop was at the only store in town that sold albums. Most of my Lettermen album collection came from those biweekly treks! Of course, my love of The Lettermen only deepened after attending my first concert in 1972 (Tony, Gary and Jim). Seeing many, many live shows of these 3 gentlemen through the years is at the top of my list of favorite things to do. To finally 'grow up' and get to know these wonderful guys and to count them as friends is a priceless gift....not to mention the extended Lettermen family and many fans who have become dear and treasured friends through the years.  I pledge to continue to make this great legion of Lettermen friends even bigger and better~~~all of us brought together by the best vocal group , EVER, The Lettermen!

Sue Silverthorn – Secretary/Treasurer

I attended my first Lettermen concert on March 14, 1976, at the Whiting Auditorium in Flint, MI, at the age of 17 while a senior in high school. The group at that concert consisted of Tony, Gary and Donny. Little did I know how that concert would change my life! I doubted that they knew my name so Donny gave me the nickname of "Herbert". My travel partner at the time, Carol was nicknamed "Fred". They all would call us Herbert and Fred faster than they could think of Sue and Carol.

Between 1976 and 1982, I traveled almost every weekend, meeting people who remain friends today.  I got married in 1983 and began raising a family. During the years of raising my four awesome children, I would attend shows within 2 hour distance from home.  After the youngest graduated in 2012, I felt free to hit the road again!

One of my favorite Lettermen memories -- while in Denver, I camped out under the stars overnight with Tony, Gary and Donny along with their families and the band! The only former Lettermen that I never got to see perform are Bob, Jim, Doug and Michael Jackson...the OTHER one!

I am honored to be one of the 3 founding coordinators who formed Lettermen Friends Club in 2015. I look forward to continue making this group of Friends the best we can be!

Bernice McCarthy – Vice President

I attended my very first Lettermen concert in 1970 while a senior in high school! I officially met them in February, 1983, at a concert at the Whiting Auditorium in Flint, MI.  I sat in the front row with Lettermen fans Becky and Vickie Fuller from Ohio. Becky was kind enough to introduce them to me after the show and we also had our picture with Tony. What a great memory

I have always loved three-part harmony and their music has always been a part of my life.  I have quite a collection of their vinyl albums and always enjoy listening to them.  I was in the Girls Glee Club, Mixed Choir and the Girls Ensemble while in high school.  I was also privileged to be selected to the All State Choir (Michigan).

Over the years, I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few Lettermen fans who remain friends to this day.  I know I have met several of our "Friends" at Lettermen shows since you have seen me behind the merchandise table.  I may not know all your names, but I do remember faces! I am looking forward to this adventure and can't wait to get to know all of you! Here's to a wonderful 2019 and The Lettermen and sharing our determination to reach for the Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame...an honor they truly deserve!
